Greeting from Faggo the Cat

Meep. Meep. Meep.

Where have I been?

I can't remembers!! So today is a free space on the bingo card of days off. The catholic nuns (who hate gum, per my coworkers) gave us 'good friday' off. FUN!

The meter reader was here at 8:15, so I've already been shamed into cleaning... Need to rustle up the boy toy and start our Very Exciting Day.

Ice Storm

Got an ice storm last night. Now on a 2 hour delay from work. Just like in elementary school. I had no idea. Luckily my super-awesome boss called to tell me at 6:45 in the morning. Must get that woman something nice...

Anywho.. So I think the Spice Girls need to come to Pittsburgh. That's right, hidden deep inside is a secret love for Girl Power. Honestly, you have it too. You're just lying to yourself about it. That and I want to make out with Posh & Ginger spice. Those girls are hot hot hot.

A shout out to Uncle Sam for allowing me to claim my tax deductible energy efficient home improvements on my taxes. Mad props to the government. This happens rarely...

Ok gang, off to enjoy my remaining 1.25 hours of freedom before I have to go to work....

Duct Tape Prom?

This contest is crazy! http://www.ducktapeclub.com/contests/prom/entries_finalist.asp

Another blustery day. At least we had water and power (not so much the past two days, but hey... what am I expecting?)

So the potato wedges at KFC are fat-girl good. Mmmm...

OK.. later.

Saturday Exploration

Grabbed my brother, braved the cold and saw the BODIES exhibit. WOW. Fought back nausea for a second or two, then gave in the humbling experience of seeing all the parts of the cadavers. The nervous system and circulatory systems were amazing.

Then went to the carnegie Science Center and explored their submarine. I couldn't believe how small and cramped it was. Whole new level of respect for any veteran who climbed around on one of those...

Might go to the movies tonight. Going to have a fun night... Later gators...

Frozen like fish sticks..

Cold out there. scheduled a vacation though: http://www.imagetours.com/itinerary.cfm?tourname=RL

Saw Charlie Murphy at the Improv tonight. Not quite as funny as I'd hoped he'd be.

*yawn* more fun tomorrow.

*another Saturday night*

And it's too damn cold to do anything! I think it will be single digits tonight. Caught the neighbor wearing shorts. He assures me that he'll try to wear pants tomorrow.

Had a pedicure today. Seriously, not to sound like a shallow muggle, but go get one. My giant feet fell kinda sexy. In a big feet way. Not in the Peggysbigfeet.com kind of way (A king of the Hill reference for all you).

Mad props (ok I know i'm white ) to the fabulous finds today at St. Vincent De Paul. Books, pants, clothes for Johnny, fun St. Patrick's day stuff. And spent less then $22! All helping to keep the clerk (with her 9 inch TV, watching Hanna Montana) and all the employees in jobs. Fun!

So what is it with people having babies and turning batshit crazy? (Batshit is not recognized by spell check. Awesome). It's on office phenomenon right now. Apparently if you get pregnant you can get away with doing almost no work. And the gump who plans your shower can also screw off the whole time, as she is obviously waayyy to stressed to actually do the job she is paid to do. Not liking this at all. Actually had to be a narc about the underground sperminated activities going on.

We found Garbage Pail Kids cards at CVS last night. Throwback to the 80's right? Fun, right? They are effing awful. Literally. Terrible artwork, same art with 2 or 3 different names. Not even remotely funny. only spent 97cents, so not too shameful.

Had another delicious meal at John Harvards. Fish & Chips! MMMmmmm. If you're ever in town, you must, must, must go there. At least for the peanut butter pie. Like sex in a crust.

OK enough.. off to bed.

Cake, class, and snow...

Had another class tonight. Interesting enough. :) came home to a big slice of Oakmont Bakery cake. Yummy. Might go chase that down with some laughing cow on asiago bagette....

The warm weather hath deserted us for more appropriate temperatures... Alas...

67 in January

A lovely balmy day. A fine example of global warming. Any excuse to wear my cherry red trench coat is A-OK in my book.

Class was fabulous!

And *shhh* it's a secret, but Ginger may have some exciting work related news in the upcoming months...

I think I have the flu...

And I speny waaaayyyy too much at the grocery store. Damn this compulsion to make food look pretty. I think I might go make a baked mac and cheese for tomorrow night. Or maybe jambalaya.

I start my next MBA class tomorrow. Looks like a hell of a lot of work. I'll have to be extra good.

*Yawn* nappy time.

A new World Record

Johnny has procrastined leaving the house to go to work for 14 hours now. He did have his jacket on for an hour and a half, most of it spent watching Dr. Who. A monumental day in inefficiency.

Meow meow meow

OK a few things.. One: the fat black cat has taken up refuge on a blanket on top of the dryer. She's pissed at someone. Not me...

Two: why oh why does this happen? I'm in the company's rather large ladies room, there's 12-15 stalls. I'm there, all alone, and some weird ass woman parks her bowel evacuating self in the stall next to me. Um, hello? Is there something wrong with the other 11 stalls? WTF? That's weird and you just don't do that.

Three: What the hell is up with World of Warcraft? Is it that damn fun? I don't get it.

Four: Pierogies. They are good. That's all...

Five: Where the hell is my damn contractor?

Six: Have a good night!

Mole is amazing

Channelled my inner Mexican Mamasita and made chicken mole. So good. Like when you eat too much of something and you kind of think you have to throw up, but only if that leaves room in your stomach to eat more. Kind of like that.

First really cold day of winter.

I have to save up $4000 by the end of October. We want to go to Paris. If you want to donate, I will take Paypal!

Happy New Year

A delightful day off greeting to all who are home and STILL in their pajamas.
